Jim Hoyt – Principal
Jim is a major principal in HWA and has been with HWA since 1981. He has over 30 years experience in the design, application and sales of the critical electrical products. He is responsible for managing the sales and customer service in Northern California and supporting the wide variety of customers we serve.
Dennis Morrison – Principal
Dennis is a managing partner and has been with HWA since 1992. He has over 25 years of experience in the UPS and critical emergency power industries. Dennis focuses on supporting consulting firms, end users, and installing contractors. He provides expertise designing reliable, fault tolerant solutions for business critical power environments.
George Gugale - Principal
George joined HWA in mid 2007 and brings over 20 years of experience in the UPS industry. George is well known in the Bay Area for providing excellent customer service and technically responsive solutions to ever-changing business continuity challenges. Based in our San Jose office, George focuses on serving the needs of electrical contractors, consulting engineers, and select end users.
Dave Ellsworth – Principal
Dave has over 30 years of sales experience in the electrical industry with a variety of products ranging from industrial controls, emergency power systems and utility power products. Dave focuses on customers throughout the Central Valley, Sacramento area, and Northern Nevada.  He has a tenacious dedication to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Ty Colwell, PE – Outside Sales
Ty has over 22 years of experience in the electrical power generation industry ranging from plant machinery diagnostics, geothermal power generation, and systems engineering. Ty has served data center customers in Northern California for the past 4 years, with over 20 successful high-efficiency data center designs and installations under his belt.  Ty specializes in maximizing the efficiency of data center cooling systems, and is a trusted advisor to his customers in helping them achieve a top quality data center that exceeds their expectations and minimizes their power bill.
John Perotti - Outside Sales
John has over 20 years of experience in technical sales and application of industrial products including, drives, programmable controllers and instrumentation. John owned and managed a System Integrator Company in the Bay Area for over 14 years. He joined our company in 2008 and is responsible for sales of our technical products in the Bay Area.
Ryan Walden- Outside Sales
Has over 25 years’ experience in applying electrical controls and has primarily specialized in the support of Variable Frequency drives over the last 16 years.  He has experience in  system drive solutions both AC and DC along with a motion control applications, in addition he has extensive knowledge in the pump/fan motor control markets.   Ryan enjoys a challenge so contact him with your motor control concerns.    Ryan will be primarily supporting our efforts in the WA/OR market.
Gypsy Courtois – Quote Specialist
Gypsy is the Inside Sales Specialist providing primary support for technical quotations, specification review, and submittal generation. He brings 20+ years of experience in various electrical and controls related positions.
Tammie Hawthorne – Inside Sales / Service
Tammie joined the HWA team in 1993.  She has held numerous positions within HWA, working from the ground up to become our “go to” person.  Tammie is currently responsible for Service Sales activities as well as repair/replacement parts for all product lines.  Tammie’s attention to detail and willingness to help our customers has made her an invaluable part of the HWA team.
Karen Castleberry – Inside Sales / Service
Karen is responsible for Service Sales for all of our product lines and also for our buy/resale support for critical power and cooling products. Karen has had many responsibilities in her 17 year experience in the Representative business. She brought this valuable experience to HWA in 2008.
