We service a variety of customers ranging from end users, architects, consultants, installing contractors, value added resellers and distributors. With each of these clients, we provide the technical support and application expertise for our products.

HWA is dedicated to its customers' needs. With a record spanning over 48 years, the HWA team has proven itself as a leader in the power products industry. In addition, we coordinate direct field support for the manufacturers we represent.

Jim Hoyt – Principal
Jim is a major principal in HWA and has been with HWA since 1981. He has had over 30 years experience in the design, application and sales of the critical electrical products. He is responsible for managing the sales and customer service in Northern California and supporting the wide variety of customers we serve.
Dennis Morrison – Principal
Dennis in a managing partner and has been with HWA for 18 years. He brings with him 25 years of experience in the UPS and critical emergency power industries. Dennis provides outside engineered sales supporting the local consulting firms, end users, and installing contractors.
George Gugale - Principal
George started joined HWA in mid 2007. He brings to our company over 20 years of experience in the UPS industry. George is well known in the Bay Area for providing excellent customer service and technically responsive solutions to our customers. George resides in HWA's San Jose office serving electrical contractors, consulting engineers and select end users.
Dave Ellsworth – Outside Sales
Dave has had over 23 years of sales experience in the electrical industry with a variety of products ranging from industrial controls, emergency power systems and utility power products. Dave has served the customer in the Sacramento, Northern Nevada and the Central Valley and has an excellent record of supporting our customers in his region.
John Perotti - Outside Sales
John has had over 20 years of experience in technical sales and application of industrial products including, drives, programmable controllers and instrumentation. John has also owned and managed a System Integrator Company in the Bay Area for over 14 years. John started with our company in 2008 and is responsible for sales of our technical products in the Bay Area.
Gypsy Courtois – Account Specialist
Gypsy is the Inside Sales Specialist providing primary support for technical quotations, specification review, and submittal generation. He brings 20+ years of experience in various electrical and controls related positions.
Tammie Hawthorne – Inside Sales / Service
Tammie is responsible for all Service Sales activities for all product lines. Tammie has held numerous positions within HWA and has been with the company for over 18 years.
Karen Castlebury – Inside Sales / Service
Karen is responsible for Service Sales for all of our product lines and also for our buy/resale support for our critical power and cooling products. Karen has had many responsibilities in her 17 year experience in the Representative business. She brought this valuable experience to HWA in 2008.
Elaine Haupt – Office Manager
Elaine has been with our company for over four years. Each year her responsibilities have grown. Besides running our office and keeping us "in line", she is responsible for administrative tasks, project tracking, order entry and quotations. Elaine is also our key inside sales person for our distributor products. Lastly, Elaine tracks our accounts receivables.
